My Gaming for the Week of July 14 to 20, 2025

Monday I was having major issues caused by my PCOS so I decided to take time off of gaming and just take it easy watching some youtube videos.
Tuesday I wanted to be productive yet wasn't feeling up to recording anything while gaming so I did the Hard and Expert difficulties for the available mission on the mini game of Ringabell's airship or whatever it's called in Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster. It was pretty difficult but fun anyways at least. The tokens received for doing so wasn't enough to get anything else though at the mini game token exchange shop.
Wednesday I played Dynasty Warriors Origins and the optional mission is similar to the other optional fights the difference seemed to be I got an accessory I can equip afterwards. I then progressed with the story and watched the cutscenes play out before going to the next story battle at the castle. The battle at the castle was actually a decent length of fighting going on unlike the other battles so far which I liked. After that are more cutscenes of course and then some optional training quests to grab which I do so.
Thursday I took on finishing off those training quests just to feel like I did something while taking on skirmishes that keep popping up. They won't stop popping up either I was just doing so until I gained a level. Once I did that I talked to someone and got a horse that I can ride in the overworld, finally a way to move faster, and in battles which gave me more optional training quests after getting the horse and talking to someone on the overworld. What I think is cool is you can summon the horse with the press of a button when in overworld and when in combat.
Friday I spent longer than I thought I would sorting out building blocks from a kit that will become what looks like a vaguely Mario themed diorama over a Switch. I got it through Amazon and the brand is Koco so I can't call them mini legos although I want to. These things are super small like I need tweezers to pick them up small. Hence why it took forever to sort them. I did start assembling the Switch part of the kit after I finished sorting but didn't really get far since it was already late at that point.
Saturday I spent time going through and organizing some of my books that I want to store in containers out of the way so I have room in my cabinet to put my lego and non-lego sets or video games whichever ends up in there. I only spent an hour working at it but was so exhausted afterwards because of how hot it is even with the AC and a fan on. I did manage to clean up a good section of unorganized mess though at least so I feel somewhat accomplished.
Sunday I got hooked playing a mobile game on my phone called Farkle. I never had heard of this dice game before having only been familiar with Yahtzee. This is way more fun to play in my opinion since I umm lost track of time playing it. Well that and Wordling which is basically Wordle. I watched youtube while playing and then it was nighttime and I said wait what? to the clock like it had an answer for me. I'll do better next week... I hope.

Free digital games for the week has Civilization VI from Epic Games Store which I plan to play eventually just to see if I like that series of games or not. They are rather unique strategy games that involve building and managing resources and such. The Amazon Prime games don't interest me having Besiege and Endless Space 2. Playstation Plus updated their catalogue and the titles I found interesting that I plan to try to get around to playing are Bluey the Videogame I like the show and since I don't have to buy the game why not, Banishers Ghosts of New Eden I kind of forget what this game is but remember seeing its trailer and thinking that might be fun then I forgot about it so now I have an excuse to actually remember to check it out, and Twisted Metal III and Twisted Metal 4 because the games are fun to play even if I'm terrible at them.
Digitally I bought Yakuza Kiwami for the Switch and downloaded it onto my Switch 2 since I eventually will get to Yakuza 0 on Switch 2 then I'll of course want to continue the series so why not have the next title available on there too. I also finally got the Cuphead DLC for XBOX systems since I do own the game and plan to eventually struggle my way through beating it.
