Monday I did finish up the coding book in the morning. The last few pages are 2 interviews with a graphic artist and a game musician giving personal stories to what happens when they are coding at companies to make games. It was interesting to read. Anyways restarted the Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster on easy this time because the first real boss battle was next and I was murdered on Normal.
Tuesday I finished catching back up and grabbed a few extra levels just in case before taking on the boss battle. Things went smoothly this time and I played around on the optional mini games afterwards.
Wednesday I spent my game time just working on rebuilding the village. I had seen some tips online about how to make it go a bit faster that I wanted to try out and I figured it would be beneficial to be able to just have access to better items earlier via the village shops. The items that are good are pricy but I figure I'll grind out the money I need next once I have an idea of how much I'll need.
Thursday I had to mow the lawn and it was hot so I was too exhausted to play the game. It had to be done though since rain is on the way.
Friday I started putting together a 4D build kit of Thor's hammer Mjolnir. I got about halfway through it after a few hours and then noticed how long I had been working on it so I ran out of time to game since I was pre-occupied doing that. I was having fun though. Whenever I get around to finishing it I'll make sure and share a photo.
Saturday continued my work on the village of Norende.
Sunday still working on the village but I am close to being done with it so I can focus on just grinding up some money then easily moving on with the rest of the game afterwards. I haven't timed how long I've spent on the village because I don't want to know. Anyways forgot to mention while building I randomly was given stuff by the Trader and I'm not sure why but it was nice anyways.
The free game on Epic Games Store this week was Two Point Hospital which is a sim strategy type game that I really don't care for. I don't really want to play those type of games where you build things and manage stuff. It doesn't appeal to me to have to figure out where to put things then deal with random complaints about how I put it. I believe this one is more about managing patients care though but still same kind of thing they want specific things whether you want to put it that way or not. I don't see the point in being given free form to do as I want only for the npcs to tell me they want me to change it. Same goes with the Amazon Prime Gaming free game Station to Station where you are building railways and managing them. I have a feeling the game has some npcs telling you they want it different. The other free Prime game was Death Squared which is a cooperative puzzle game. There is a way to play single player but I'd seen it free on something else probably PSPlus at some point and just wasn't interested. If I want to play a complicated puzzle game I'll go get Portal Still Alive loaded up and play it. Speaking of PSPlus new games didn't really interest me in the catalogue though Grand Theft Auto III is a good inclusion just isn't my kind of game. I might play Myst and Riven in the new additions to the classics catalogue though since I never finished the first game, got stuck on a puzzle at one point and just looked up the endings, and never played the sequel. Might be fun to mess with some time, maybe with a guide this time.
