The next route up is Kuga which for some reason in my notes I spelled his name wrong as Kuja haha oops. Anyways I loaded up Save 1 and chose:
-Castle Town
which starts up Chapter 2 going down this route.
The route starts out with hilarity just like the other route which was greatly needed after finishing those sad endings from the previous route. I'm still being stubborn and doing the good ending first then the bad ones. Turns out Yoichi isn't as lazy as he acts after all. A hair slasher.... I'm certain it is related to the blightfall somehow maybe being the main threat this route though appearing this early I feel it is a minor threat with a larger problem over it. Suzuno's inability to make her hair presentable is so relateable to me I am constantly told my hair could use assistance haha. I feel like Suzuno's eating habits remind me of happy little squirrels that just found a stash of nuts from the CG they gave. It is utterly adorable. I love when there are scenes like the one with Kuga choosing holding hands as way to not get separated. It may be a slightly over used situation in what I've read in the past but it's always just so adorable. The chapter's choices were:
-Have him buy some
-I don't know
-...Really?
-Let's keep watch
Chapter 3 starts right after the festival and a nice gift from Yoichi. Things quickly get serious as the hair cutter is getting stronger. Then after a battle things get weird. I guess Suzuno can perform the Snow Sacrament in her own way in this route. Only one choice this chapter:
-I'm just doing what I can
Chapter 4 opens after the ominous suggestion another blightfall may have been what cause this one to form somehow that was just defeated. Then conversation about the future is brought up making that a top thought for Suzuno since the blightfall is down for now. There is a hint of something going on of possibly a revenge or stalker of Kuga which I hope is elaborated on soon because as Suzuno says there is so much peace it is boring. Then the peace is broken just as quickly. Only one choice again:
-You're okay with that?
Chapter 5 starts right after Suzuno moves in with Kuga because he is being targeted but incorrectly so. Unsure when the choices are I made my save 2 at the chapter start to go back to for a bad ending later. Apparently, Kuga has never cleaned the place as dirty as it was... The enemy situation took a turn as I guessed the formfolk are all being kidnapped via brainwash and now rumors are blaming Kuga. Hilarity takes place soon after to give a small break in the seriousness thanks to Kuga and Suzuno being in a litter together which leads to several near kiss moments prevented by Kuga's fast movements to keep from happening (unfortunately... I want the kiss~). Choices this chapter were:
-Tell Genjuro
-Because you were pretty
-I'll get out
Chapter 6 starts after finding out it is Kuga's sword that has him pinned as the bad person who really would have been Kuga's creator who we know nothing about unless Kuga gets his memories back which is a bad thing technically. No choices this chapter and it starts out with doing what is dangerous letting Kuga know his sealed memories basically deciding it a necessary risk. Yay they had a cute hug~ It was to help him quit worrying but it was still adorable.
Chapter 7 takes off right after finding out Mimi might be in danger... Started the chapter with a save since I don't know when the choice is in there to make the save closer to it for the sorrow ending later. Time to speed towards a good ending despite Kuga still not having emotions yet I guess it'll happen quickly towards the end for his affection ending to work, I guess? Yep a late seal break it was which was sweet until Hanzo had to show up, ugh can't enemies just wait their turn. It only took way too long but finally they kissed. Only one choice this chapter:
-Talk about her dream
With the good ending done I loaded save 3 and changed my choice to:
-More positive topic
I get sorrow endings are supposed to be sad hence the name, but must it be so sad... there is a CG exclusive to the sorrow ending too making it necessary for completion if you are into that. It's not a happy one it isn't even cute like the one for Tojo it's just sad.
Luckily it seems the bad ending I can obtain from save 2 is optional but curiosity got to me, so choices were:
-Chase after him
-Because I didn't want to get in the way
-Hide your face
-More positive topic
While sad since it doesn't show as much or share Kuga's thoughts it isn't as sad if that makes sense. Nothing really to gain from it other than seeing a different bad ending basically.
